Electrical Challenges for Virginia Institutions
Electrical work for larger institutions and their facilities can result in sizeable, complex projects. All of installation, repair and system maintenance must be done in a manner that guarantees both the safety of our team but also the customer's staff and visitors.
In addition to flexibility and solid planning, electrical service for Virginia institutions requires a high level of agility performing electrical services including emergency generator installations, electrical system repairs, design/build solutions and much more.
How We Help Virginia Institutions Address These Challenges
Harris Power Electrical always holds safety of their employees and customers as a priority. We are also a licensed "Class A" electrical contractor in Virginia fully capable of providing full-service electrical work to institutions with varying requirements.
The best indication of our institutional electrical capabilities is exemplified by our service to the Department of Energy's Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab). Since 2002, we've completed an average of over 600 work orders, inspected more than 400 electrical panels and performed preventative maintenance on all of the laboratory's generators each year - earning the Harris Power Electrical Division JLab's "Outstanding Small Business Subcontractor of the Year" for 2010 (out of more than 117 contractors).
